Staffing changes

It is with a heavy heart that I submit my resignation as Executive Director of Humewood House
effective Feb 1, 2013. The last seven years at Humewood House has been a rich and
rewarding experience. We have renovated and upgraded much of Humewood House, opened
1900 Sheppard, installed solar panels and celebrated 100 years of service for young women. It
has been fulfilling personally and professionally.

Throughout my time at Humewood House, the expertise, the commitment and the support of
the Staff and Board of Directors has been unwavering. I am confident in the ongoing success of
Humewood House and remain committed to our shared mission and vision.

I have accepted the position of Executive Director at CRC in Regent Park effective February 4,
2013. CRC is an exciting opportunity for me. Their vision, their new building at 40 Oak St. and
the changing community in Regent Park will provide a fertile ground to challenge my skills and
expertise in my ongoing pursuit of community engagement, social integration and social justice.
It has been an honour to work with the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers at Humewood
House. Thank you for all the opportunities you have provided to me over the last seven years.

Humewood House is currently hiring for a new Executive Director.
